About Timber Window Company

Made-to-size timber windows, manufactured in engineered hardwood or slow-grown softwood and fitted by our own teams.

How we work

Every item we make starts from a measured survey rather than a stock size. That is slower at the front end and it is the reason our units fit openings that are out of square, out of plumb, or simply not the size anyone expected.

We manufacture in engineered hardwood and slow-grown softwood, both FSC certified, with chain-of-custody documentation supplied as standard. Finishes are applied in the workshop under controlled conditions, which gives a more durable result than site application.

What we will tell you honestly

If repair is the better option than replacement, we will say so. If a softwood unit will serve you as well as a hardwood one in a sheltered position, we will quote the softwood. We would rather lose the upsell than fit something you did not need.

Guarantee

Ten years on workmanship, covering manufacture and the factory-applied finish. Where we install, the installation is covered too. It is issued in writing with your handover paperwork.

References

Written client references are available on request before you commit to an order. We would rather you spoke to someone we have worked for than take our word for it.

Every unit made to size

Nothing is cut down from stock. Each window is manufactured to your survey dimensions.

Engineered hardwood core

Laminated sections resist the movement that makes single-piece timber twist and stick.

10-year guarantee

Covering manufacture, the factory finish and our own installation work.

Survey before manufacture

We measure the opening as built, so what arrives fits without packing.
